BATTERÍIÐ DESIGNS FOR UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA
Batteríið Architects was, together with Cibinel architects in Winnipeg, chosen out of 5 other architectural firms to design an Active Living Centre at the University of Manitoba. See more.
BATTERÍIÐ IN CANADA
Batteriid has been seeking assignments in Manitoba in Canada since late last year. The first one is now in hand in cooperation with Cibinel Architects in Winnipeg. See more.
BIM COURSE
Batteríið offers courses on BIM drafting software, Revit Arc and other software for beginners and advanced users. The courses are held in a new and large classroom at Trönuhraun 1 in Hafnarfjörður. For further information phone the office at +354 54 54 700.
BATTERÍIÐ HAS RECEIVED "SENTRAL GODKJENNING" IN NORWAY
Batteríið has received full rights to design and submit official drawings for certification in Norway.
This includes „tiltaksklasse 3“ which is the highest level of certification and means that Batteríið has the right to design buildings in all categories despite project size.

The tour is part of course for employees on “Sustainable Design” sponsored by Batteriid.
BATTERÍIÐ AWARDED A “DESIGN FOR EXPORT” AWARD TOGETHER WITH AN ICELANDIC LAMP MANUFACTURER.
The Icelandic Design Centre and The Trade Council of Iceland held a product design competition which aimed to bring together designers and industry to develop new products for export.
BATTERÍIÐ PLACES SECOND IN THE INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION FOR THE NATIONAL BANK OF ICELANDIC´S HEADQUARTERS.
The competition was an invitational starting with 21 international architecture firms and was divided into a two stage idea competition, 5 firms were selected to continue in the final stage. See more.
